Femke Kersten [she/her] is a Graphic Designer/Visual Artist based in The Netherlands.

In her practice she offers opportunity to reflect on how we can connect with our surroundings while engaging in a resilient dialogue about collectivity and ecological thought. With a background in graphic design her work frequently include graphic printing techniques, often resulting in collaborative or self-published projects. She is experienced in guiding and teaching processes such as risoprint and cyanotype.

Additionally, she is currently collaborating with seaweed and soil to research the development of biobased inks for use in printmaking to aim sight for a more regenerative design practice.
